My husband and I visited this restaurant over the weekend. We started out with some tequeños de lomo, then we had some tallarines verdes a with milanesa de pollo and papa a la huancaina (the huancaina sauce was a tad bit spicy for me, but my husband loved it), and lastly we ordered the seco de res. We loved everything, our server was attentive! We will definitely be back for a second round
Absolutamente phenomenal and authentic Peruvian food! Came here to fulfill a ceviche craving and they delivered. Our waiter was great as well, excellent service. We will DEFINITELY be back next time we’re in Seattle.
This is a cool place in Maple Leaf. The outdoor seating is great and the salsa music is always going. We had the fish sandwich, the lomo saltado, the breakfast burrito (Saturday brunch item), and the yuca fries. The burrito and yuca were outstanding. The sandwich and lomo were okay. Overall a fun place to eat.
Edit: Clearly the owner has a big ego and cannot handle any criticism… and cannot apologize for bad service… just because you didn’t see food on a plate doesn’t mean the experience or the service was great. Like I said I didn’t see cockroaches until after I paid, while I was waiting 15 minutes for the desert that could’ve been handed to me in 10 seconds since it was in fridge. Fix your attitude, I’ve seen your bad reviews, seems you need to work on your service and attitude because you’re turning away long time customers.
While I had no issues with my food those at my party who did were given an attitude… funny enough they were from Peru and definitely know how Peruvian food should be made.. 1 was visiting from Lima. I don’t mind spending money at a Peruvian restaurant… but I would expect a clean kitchen and not cockroaches crawling around… at the end I still left a good tip before I got my desert only for the owner to spend 15-20 minutes to hand me something from the fridge NEXT TO THE REGISTER, and to make things worse I couldn’t enjoy my desert since I saw a roach on that same fridge just minutes after I paid… After that experience I regretted leaving a tip, and I ALWAYS tip at least 20%. Luckily we found other Peruvian restaurants that had better service and a clean kitchen.
Extremely expensive, bad presentation, horrible service with an attitude when I requested well done my meat and he came with an attitude of ohh! you want your meat totally dried? without mentioned it was cold
I'm Peruvian, and I know exactly the high quality of Peruvian food. this is not at all any we expected.
I just saw your replied, and I will recommend don't take this personal. Take it as a feedback to do better. I will be always honest in my reviews and I usually don't write anything unless it is extremely necessary. I don't have any benefit from this.
Thank you.
Fantastic dishes! Everything was spot on. Fish was fresh and the noodle was well balanced. Chicken was delicious as well. This place has more than enough outdoor space, so many customers brought their dogs including myself. Love to visit again!
I have wanted to try this place for so long and I finally find time to do so. Unfortunately I did not get to try the food. I didn't get to try the food because there was a language barrier. Not that she wasn't friendly initially but I …
We completed our run of local Peruvian restaurants with Don Lucho’s.
Getting in was a bit confusing as the entrances are chained and a sign tells you …
